The Steps Involved in All on 4 Concept Teeth Replacement

Day One: Placement of 4 to 6 Dental Implants

  • Extractions are done (if necessary) and your jaw is prepared to receive the implants.
  • Around 4 to 6 implants are inserted depending on the individual clinical situation. It is more predictable to put more than 4 implants in people with soft bones, heavy bites, and teeth grinding habits. We will assess and discuss your personal situation before your implant treatment begins.

Day Two or Three

  • It usually takes 3 to 4 visits to fit in your new set of teeth. After surgery, your new bite is recorded.
  • The laboratory then fabricates your new set of provisional teeth
  • We use high quality teeth and high impact acrylic for achieving the results you deserve

Teeth Try-in

  • Your new set of teeth, which are still set in wax, are tried in
  • This allows us to further assess your smile, bite and speech. Changes are done if required.
  • On your consent and approval, the try-in set of teeth is processed to the final stage. These steps are crucial for determining that no subsequent problems arise once the implants and prosthetics are fitted.

Smile

  • Your new fixed provisional replacement teeth are secured on the implants and your follow up appointments are booked

Initial Scans

Once the consultation has been completed, we will move on to taking the records for the case. Dental impressions will be taken, along with bite registration, dental x-rays, and close-range photographs of the patient’s teeth. The whole process will take around an hour or so to complete, and you will be required to make a down payment as well. You will then be required to fill out the prescription form for the process to continue. One of our technicians will then create a simulation for the treatment and show it to you so that you can get a better idea of how the treatment will be carried out.

Orthodontics with Dentist Collingwood

Once the Invisalign trays have been fabricated, we will call you to the clinic for installation. The dentist will guide you on how to care for the aligner trays and when to change them. It is important that you follow the instructions and visit the clinic at regular intervals so that the dentist can follow up on your treatment. We will need to replace the aligner trays every few weeks. Invisalign is a very reliable method of realigning your teeth and restoring your confidence so that you can smile confidently again.
